As most of you still visiting this site have noticed, absolutely nothing is going on here anymore.....
A bit of a shame really, cause theres still players around that loves the game.
If somebody can see a future for Descent.dk, and is willing to maintain the site please drop me
a note, you will have totally free hands regarding design etc etc etc. You will even get 1 of the "old" descent.dk mailaccounts :)
IF someone should happen to read this, please tell others in the gamelobby and elsewhere about it.

After 2 years, 5 months and 14 days Descent.DK servers is now offline. Due to the lack of usage and the fact that the powerbill is killing me,
I decided to shut down the lesser used servers, and 2 of the gameservers was up ! (last years bill was over 3500 $)
Should anyone need custom servers for a weekend or a single online game i can still provide one if needed.
This site will stay up for a while, at least the Forum is used a bit :)

FINALLY it has arrived !!! The CPU i have been waiting for for allmost 6 months...
I guess no matter what its gonna be a disappointment :(

Descent.DK Servers will now run Direct Tcp/Ip instead, that way i hope to be able to keep
from exploding over that BULLSHIT service Pxo is providing.

Ok i guess its time to convert this site into English instead ...
Due to the amount of hits the site is getting, and the fact that MOST users can
understand it will be like that from now on.
A lot of the "old" things will remain here in Danish for now, but everything new will

Mailserveren har nu været nede i ca. 2 døgn på grund af flytning. Håber virkeligt at tingene snart er på plads !!!

Nu har serveren kørt test et par døgn, og det lader til at alt er som det skal være. Ping-tiderne er (herfra) imellem 35-65 ms uanset belastning!!! FLOT! Der har været nogle problemer med loss, men alt tyder på at det er et problem med den nye patch 1.2 og 1.21 ! Belastningen på linien har på intet tidspunkt oversteget 45 % så der er masser af båndbredde.....Starter endnu en server op i løbet af dagen.

Så er Serveren kørende......Phew. Ind til videre i "Testmode" ! Mangler stadig at køre nogle tests under belastning... Har indtil videre kun prøvet med 7 på, ping under 70 :-)

Så er Serveren sendt afsted..... Det var nu lidt vemodigt at sige farvel til den, den har trods alt overtaget konens og ungernes job med at holde mig oppe om natten de sidste 14 dage :-) Hvis alt går vel kører den uden problemer. Til dem, der trofast møder op på Kali server 361 : I er (forhåbenligt) klar til at køre en test. Oooops, selvfølgelig også dem der kommer for første gang :-) Vi ses! I kan jo prøve at pinge til dyret allerede nu... IP 194.239.12.1 svarer allerede. Serveren kommer til at hedde 194.239.12.6.
