Login to the Head TD Tournament Center at: http://tourneys.igl.net/tk/headtd/
Enter your TD name and password and click the link for your League.
The following is a brief introduction to the links found on your menu and what they will enable you to do. If you have any questions after reading this document, please address them with your Head Administrator.
This utility will allow you to administer any tournament created by any TD on your League. Clicking on this link will take you to a list of all of the tournaments scheduled for your League. Choose the tournament number you want to host from the list, and from that point on it’s as if you’re administering your own tournament.
This is just another way to get to administer tournaments. If you already know the tournament number you can use this link. You can also use this to find all of the tournaments created by a specific TD.
Once a TD has been trained in the Swiss System format you can use this tool to approve them to host Swiss Style tournaments. Simply select the Tournament Director from the pull-down menu and click Setup S.S. T.D.
This will allow you to award a tournament medal to a platinum or diamond member of your league. There are four medals available: Golden Shield of Assistance, Blue Cross of Sportsmanship, Battle of the Sexes and Tournament of Champions. To award any of them, simply enter the player’s name in the box and choose the appropriate medal from the drop-down list. The player will receive an email notifying them that they’ve received an award, and the awarding of the medal will be shown in your ‘Daily News’. Each medal can only be awarded to a particular player one time.
This tool allows you to change the current “status” of a Tournament Director on your League. The available choices are:
When a new Tournament Director is initially added to the League they are automatically on “in training” status. On this status, they cannot administer tournaments, but they are able to play in tournaments.
Active is the default status for all TD’s. While on Active status they can administer tournaments and play in tournaments.
This status is for an active TD and player who may, on occasion, not be able to host within a specified time period. TD’s on active-exempt status will not purge for inactivity and are able to both administer and play in tournaments.
Use this status if one of your TDs requests a leave of absence. A TD on Vacation status cannot administer or play in tournaments.

This utility will allow you to enter a note into the tournament record of any member of your League. Simply enter the name of the player and click “Edit Player Notes.” When you have finished entering the notes, click “Add Entry to Notes File.” Notes are automatically stamped with the time and date, as well as the name of the person who entered the note.
This utility will allow you to enter a note into the file of any Tournament Director on your League. Select the TD from the pull-down menu and click “Edit T.D.’s Notes”. When you have finished entering the notes, click “Add Entry to Notes File”. Notes are automatically stamped with the time and date, as well as the name of the person who entered the note.
This tool will allow you to E-mail the other Head TD’s on your League. Enter the subject line, type your message, and click the send button. You will be taken to a confirmation page with a copy of the mail and a list of everyone who received it.

This link will take you to the MyLeague Tournament Director forum, a private message board for use by MyLeague TDs and HTDs. This is great place to share creative ideas and offer general support.
This utility allows you to calculate the LadderBux prizes for the various tournament formats.
This very useful log allows you to research a player’s entire history of LadderBux winnings, entry fees paid, and any other modifications posted. This log also documents any LadderBux received by a TD for hosting tournaments. Should you or one of the TD’s on your League ever have any questions about whether or not a TD or a player received Bux credit for a tournament, or any other tournament related LadderBux concern, you should check here first.
Note: This log does NOT show “gifted” LadderBux or LadderBux redemptions.
This tool enables you to view the entire list of winners of a specific month’s tournaments. This information is most commonly used as an aid in creating a Tournament of Champions for your League. Simply select the Month and Year and click the “View Monthly Winners” button.
This utility allows you to approve or decline any new TD applications for your League. Clicking on the application number itself will allow you to view the applicant’s Player Notes file.
To process the application, click one of the radio buttons as described here, and then click Process Applications.

available (applicant will receive notification that they’ve been placed on the
waiting list).
3. = Approve the application and set them up as a T.D. immediately (applicant
will receive welcome mail with login and password information).
Use this tool to remove HTD status from a TD on your league. The TD will remain on your list of TD’s but will lose their access to the Head TD tools. Simply choose the HTD from the drop down list and click the button. They will receive an email letting them know that they’ve been removed as a Head TD.
Use this tool to remove a Tournament Director from your roster. When a TD is removed, all TD stats and TD notes are erased so if you want to keep track of these things for any reason, you should copy them over to the Player Notes file. Choose the TD from the drop down list, choose the removal reason (the default is inactivity, so uncheck that if it’s not the reason) and click the button. Choose “other” if you’d like to type a note in the text box for the removal reason rather than use one of the defaults. They will receive notification via email that they have been removed.
This tool can be used to remove a TD’s ability to host Swiss System tournaments. Select the TD’s name from the pull-down menu and click ‘Remove S.S. Access’.
Use this tool to strip a member of their previously awarded medal. Type in the player name and choose the appropriate medal from the drop down list and click “Remove Medal”. The player will receive notification that their medal has been removed.
This link will take you to a list of all the incomplete tournaments on your League. If you need to remove a tournament from the schedule, select the tournament’s number from the pull-down menu, enter the reason for removal and click “Remove Tournament.” If no reason is entered in the box, the default wording will be sent.
Use this tool to give a TD on your league HTD status and access to the Head TD menu. Simply choose the appropriate TD from the drop-down list and click “Setup Head T.D.”.

This utility displays a list of all the TDs on your League and their E-mail addresses and current statistics.
This will show you the current waiting list for TDs on your League. Applicants are listed in order of membership level (Diamond, Platinum, and Gold) first, and time of submittal second. This is the same list that the applicants themselves have access to view.
In general, your first point of contact for questions regarding tournaments should be your Head Admin. If, however, you need more extensive help, or help with something that they cannot fix, use this link to submit your mail to the MyLeague Support Team. You have two choices for support: Other/General or Incorrect Tourney Report. If you choose Incorrect Tourney Report you will be taken to a form that you will need to fill out completely with the corrected information so that we may make the necessary changes.
