Tactics

Well IM not one of the Descent GODs, but i'v been on KALI for some time (4½ years)and I have found out a way that works for me.There by not said that this is the only or the right way but its my way.:-)

RULE nr1: KNOW THE LEVEL!!!!! This is one of the most important things in Descent.Learn where to hide ,

where to ambush, and where the weapons are and what weapons there are !

RULE nr2: KNOW YOUR OPPONENT!!!!! Learn how your opponent plays. Is he a dogfighter or sneaky

How he move around on the level, a lot of players are very predictable, learn to use that, and u will have a great advantage.

RULE nr3: DON'T BE PREDICTABLE!!! Change the way u move around on the level. The good players

quickly learn how to kill u, if u do the same thing over and over again.

RULE nr4:COMPENSATE FOR PINGTIME: Check the ping time to your opponent!! 200ms =one pyro ahead .U cant do anything about packet loss.. leave the game.(if u can :-))

RULE nr5:USE YOUR EARS!!! Turn of the music.This is a very important thing to do.. listen!!! Ships bumping into walls.Doors that open/closes. Shoots(missiles) that hits the walls.All factor's that gives you a tip about ,where your opponent are.

RULE nr6:3XCHORDING!!! 3xchording=moving in 3 directions at the same time.Learn this trick and u can move a lot faster around the level without using the afterburner (afterburner make noise)u can move up to 40% faster when u use 3xcording.
